August Updates

Its been a busy old year so far for the Thumbpump.com crew and the last month has been no exception. There has been an event or prep for an event every weekend for the last 6 weeks which when coupled with fitting in all the regular work that I have to do means not much time for creating new content for the site, luckily Mick has been up to his usual tricks, managing to knock out a couple of new videos, along with a few other contributions we have got a bit of new stuff up in the last month. There is a new installment of the Quads to the Cape series in part 9 and also part 7 of the original 47 Industries movie Dualroost. There have been a couple of QRCV events at Toolleen recently so we have a track review of the Toolleen Park facilty and a video of the Can Am X-team at the last round of the Tri State series also held there. Our friend Colin Balshaw at 4style in WA is keeping us up to date with the WA ATV MX Series with a vid from round 5 and Mick has managed to shoot footage at both the recent Agquip Field Days in NSW and also last weekends SA State MX Titles

With the start of the Australasian Safari now imminent, September is also shaping up to be a busy month. Keep an eye out, not only for regular written updates from us throughout the event as we follow the quad division around but, also video reviews of all the quad competitors unique machines in this specialist event. We should also soon be bringing plenty more "How To" video with the 47industries workshop studio nearing completion.

More new stuff

Some more new stuff for the month of July, we firstly have a couple of reviews, the Go Pro HD Hero camera from our friends at Race Recall which we have been using to record footage for some of our video files here, and also a review of the Dalton Clutch Kit for the Polaris RZR and RZR S model SxS, there is also an associated how to video with a fitting guide for the clutch kit.

There are also some action videos with a clip from the recent QRASA Peake Enduro and also Round 4 of the WA State MX Titles along with another installment of the Dual Roost Movie(part6) and Quads to the Cape part 8. This week also sees the final part (part 8) of the One Crazy Jumbo series with Bullet taking on the Finke Desert Race on his TRX90.

Busy times in July

The months seem to be flying by since we launched Thumbpump.com in February. We have already had 2 of the biggest ATV offroad events for the year in the Thumbpump 300 and the Finke Desert Race and the Australasian safari is coming up quickly. The MX scene has also been busy, notably with the QRCV's Tri state series nearly complete and preparations in place for the Vic and SA state titles, as well as the National Championships this year in WA the second half of the year is shaping up to be just a busy as the first.

There are a stack of new videos up including part 7 of the Quads to the Cape series and also part 7 of the One Crazy Jumbo feature and the next installment of 47 Industries first ever movie Dualroost part 5. There is also plenty of gear from some recent events like the ARC Rally of SA quad class and footage from the recent Polaris Racing 4x4 Challenge.

Check out the reviews section for some video reviews and instruction of how to use some of CRC's fine products on your ATV and also a video review of Chad McKay's Finke DS450XMX.

Some sad news that we all knew was coming was made properly offical in the last couple of weeks, with the very last issue of the Australian ATV Action magazine coming out. As a long time contributor to the Mag (I think that I had something in all but 3 issues of the last 4 years) it is very dissapointing to see it go. We will miss old Bazz's rants and along with that his fantastic photography and all the fun times we've had doing photo shoots and tests for the mag. RIP ATV Action...

Latest Updates

Finally some updates for April, it has been quite a hectic month with all that 47industries has on the go at the moment, the lead up and going to the Condo 750, the Thumb Pump 300 enduro coming up and another Simpson Desert crossing as well, plus all of us having other duties to perform the whole crew has been flat out. Anyway here are a few new videos to keep everyone going for the time being. All three of these were shot at the Condo 750 with Colin Lawson who not only rides on the Can-Am X-team but owns Extreme Motorcycles based in Atherton in northern Queensland. Firstly there is a How To video about installing CV Savers over your CV boots on IRS and 4x4 ATV's, Also a look at the Vision X LED Headlights for some extra night vision and lastly a look at Colins 2010 Renegade XC as it was set up for Condo.

Once we get through the next couple of events there will be some more new videos and plenty of fresh storys, we have, coming up a look at building up Paul Smiths' Honda TRX700XX for Finke and also for the Australasian Safari and also we'll be having a bit of a play in the SXS world with a standard Polaris RZR and also with our own RZR 'S' model.
